The fact that education helps in structuring society is a generally accepted fact. Education, in every sense, is one of the fundamental mechanisms for achieving sustainable poverty reduction and economic development through investment in human capital. Hence, there has been a shift in focus to overhauling the existing Nigerian education system, from input-focused to out-put-driven (result). This drive to reposition was born out of clues taken from the focal role of education in the economy of developed countries. Although the Nigerian government and other stakeholders have invested huge resources in the education sector, achieving optimal learning in our school systems is still a major challenge. Hence, to achieve the goal of the efficient education system through effective school-level management, unblemished accountability, and visible reduction in the number of out-of-school children, and management of education programmes, this study tour has been designed. The capacity of participants will be developed in the positioning and management of education for optimal productivity in line with global best practices.
