During a project planning phase, detailed information is provided on the steps involved in the project activities, from implementation to closure. However, to be able to record a goal-driven performance, implementation processes must be carefully monitored and evaluated for informed decision making and to guide and determine whether the project is in the right direction to achieve the expected outcome and impact. This training is premised on the need for managers implementing development projects and programmes to understand the realities and requirements of monitoring and output, outcome and impact evaluation and also be equipped with the management tools and techniques necessary to establish, operate, document, and disseminate project activities. Participating in this programme will enable delegates to be equipped with modern tools and techniques for designing and implementing M&E system that will facilitate the effective realisation of projects’ development objectives and bring about quality and sustainable outcomes and impacts.
