As the global economy increases pressure on resources and funds, the importance of procurement to the development of public and private organisations and projects becomes more emphasized. Public and Private organisations procure a wide variety of goods and services and undertake execution of works in pursuance of their duties and responsibilities. Therefore, there is a need for personnel within such structures
to have deep understanding of procurement administrative requirements, economic efficiencies, legal rules, and supplier relationships and they must have good business acumen to deliver real value for money throughout the supply chain.
With a view to improve transparency in procurement and reduce the scope for subjectivity, the main objective of this training is to empower participants with skills, knowledge, and the right attitude pivotal for deploying an effective procurement plan, leveraging robust forecasting, market analysis, procurement processes, and cost reduction methodologies.
At the end of the training, participants would be able to determine quality, identify supplier contract milestones, review supplier performance against contract, and manage supplier performance issues, for improved performance and greater accountability.
