Technical and Vocational Education, Life skills Training and Entrepreneurial Skills Development play an essential in improving the well-being of the people. It can increase productivity, empower individuals to become self-reliant and stimulate economic growth when properly managed. Technical and vocational education and training (TVET) is an essential stimulus to economic development. Majority of the informal sector comprises of people who derive their livelihood through vocation, and this constitutes more than 60% of the economy of most countries globally. Training and developing programmes can up-skill an individuals with a view to making a career is a great weapon to fight increasing poverty by expanding the job opportunities for individuals across ages and groups. Adequate life skills and entrepreneurial proficiency among people can also promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth and competitiveness, social equity and environmental sustainability. To achieve this, this training is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and philosophy for developing and implementing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) projects which must be characterized by enough life skills and entrepreneurial abilities.
