Why you should attend

According to World Bank estimate, about 34% of supposedly economically active population in most developing countries lack the basic skills required to get quality means of livelihood. Furthermore, the situation is compounded by the ever increasing demand for flexible, innovative, adaptive workforce which globally leaves over two billion working-age adults poorly equipped and unable to meet the essential literacy skills
demands of employers. In order to ameliorate the increasing socioeconomic burden of the affected populations, both governmental and non-governmental organizations have developed varying empowerment and life skill programmes to sustain the livelihood of the affected population.

However, the empowerment and life skill programmes are riddled with challenges of poor project design and implementation strategies. This training is therefore designed to address the various challenges bedeviling implementation of empowerment and life skill programmes.
